Description
The Jacket-style BC designed just for women. Sherwood cut the air cell, shoulders and cummerbund on this BC to conform to female curves for superior fit and comfort. It's also no accident that it's extremely stylish. Luna also features the CQR-3 weight-pocket system for a more secure, comfortable dive-plus two, non-releasing, trim weight pockets that can hold up to 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) additional weight. Jacket style, this BC wraps air completely around the body for easy floating on the surface and provides: A 3-D designed air cell and elastic removable sternum strap and front closure that allow full inflation while eliminating "squeeze". Thick padding, and a plush nylon interior Sherwood's Half-Pac combining the cushiness of a soft-pack BC with the stability of a hard-pack. Two roomy, zippered pockets system ready for Akona BD Pro Kit and Quick-Clip (see SKU's: GNSRK or GNSRKL).
The CQR-3 weight integrating system has a releasable weight capacity of 16 lbs. (7.25 kg) with 2-non-releasing trim weight pockets with a weight capacity of 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) for enhanced stability. The BCD has a lift range from 18 lbs. to 25 lbs. (8.16 kg to 11.3 kg) depending on BCD size. The Luna BCD is equipped with torso adjustable shoulder straps, removable and adjustable sternum strap and waist strap all employing squeeze-style" side-release buckles for easy donning and doffing. Additional accessory attachment is achieved with 3-stainless-steel D-rings and the BCD is equipped with zippered pockets. BCD comes with an owner's manual.
The Sherwood Gemini gives you exceptional breathing performance without any in-water adjustments required. Made with durable materials, the Gemini gives you superior performance that you would expect from a primary regulator. The Gemini replaces the conventional BC power inflator and backup second stage regulator. With this two-in-one breathing device, an extra hose is eliminated, giving you a less cumbersome dive. The power inflation, oral inflation, and exhaust trim valve are designed to remain like standard BC inflators, so you are already familiar with the Gemini's operating system.
When you're taught how to dive you are given practice in buoyancy control more than any other skill. Once you start to dive every time you go underwater, fin the reef, or surface you use buoyancy control. All this time your octopus second stage regulator hangs un-used and out of mind. When a real life out-of-air situation occurs, the stress and anxiety mounts, and you find yourself fumbling for a piece of equipment you never use the octopus! Combining your inflator device (that you use on every dive) with your octopus regulator assures your ability to react properly when an out-of-air emergency occurs. Be a safe diver with the Gemini Breathable Inflator. Made from durable plastic materials, chromed bras and chromed brass for strength and long service life. The Gemini comes equipped with an owner's manual and a 3/8" threaded high-flow quick-disconnect hose.
