This one is a real beauty. Truly a unique art form of the past.  A historical memento of a time before credit cards, bank wires, and computers.
    From Wikipedia:
The Bust of Columbia depicted on a 1869 15-cent bank note.
Fractional Currency was introduced by the United States Federal Government following the Civil War. These notes were in use between 21 August 1862 and 15 February 1876, and could be redeemed by the U.S. Postal Service for the face value in postage stamps.
    Fractional notes were issued in 3, 5, 10, 15, 25, and 50 cent denominations.
This particular Fractional currency note was 89 x 46 millimeters, or  3.50 x 1.81 inches.
