    Description

    Here is an unusual Hampshire Pottery classic form vase with a thick, frothy, curdled drip glaze in a deep yellow ochre color. Made in Keene New Hampshire before 1923 this pottery was influenced by the Grueby Pottery in nearby Boston.  Marked Hampshire Pottery with the in the mold mark, and the M in a circle for Emoretta Robertson and shape number 95.  It measures 7 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter at the shoulder.  It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, just a few in the making burst glaze bubbles.  A beautiful piece of New England Arts & Crafts Art Pottery.  If you have any questions please click on our username or visit our store page and feel free to email through the gallery or call Jim Messineo at JMW Gallery.
