DIVT3300 Dive Rite TransPac XT:
The Package starts with the Dive Rite TransPac XT Harness, exceptionally rugged, yet beautifully streamlined, the TransPac XT redefines expectations about function and comfort in Scuba harnesses. Dive Rites radically updated TransPac XT now provides a true mountaineer backpack design with an integrated hip belt, molded foam lumbar support and ergonomic shoulder pads. Available in multiple sizes with easy customization options at the shoulder and waist plate, the TransPac XT is designed to fit any size diver, including children.
The TransPac XT evenly balances weight across the hips and back distributing the weight of single or double tanks. The wrap-around hip belt made of dual density foam, snugly hugs the lower back giving critical support and cushioning. Narrow, double foam shoulder pads fit perfectly beneath the 2" (5.1cm) shoulder webbing to give chafe free comfort. The high-tech, molded foam lumbar pad is contoured in all the right places with mesh airflow channels for instant draining topside and doubles as a lift bag sleeve with an integrated pocket. Chest support strap provides ultimate load distribution and when used with the removable, 1.5" (3.8cm) crotch strap provides outstanding stability and comfort in the water. Transition plates at the shoulders allow for quick addition/deletion of hardware and finite adjustments. Dual cam straps with stainless-steel buckles are positioned to give plenty of head room for easy maneuvering in the water.
Neutrally buoyant, the TransPac XT weighs less than 5 lbs. (2.29 kg) and packs flat for travel. Optional weight pockets (see SKU: DIV3216) slide easily onto the waist belt. The soft backpack is 1,000-Denier ballistic nylon and the side plates and hardware are marine grade stainless-steel. The shoulder straps feature pivot rings at chest and Acetyl resin squeeze style quick-release buckles for easy don/doff. There are four 2" (5.1cm) D-rings on each shoulder strap on sizes M-XXL and 2 each on XS & SM. The harnesses 2" (5.1cm) nylon webbing is rated to 7,000 lbs. (3175 kg) breaking strength. The TransPac XT weighs 4.25 lbs. to just less than 5 lbs. (1.93 to 2.26 kg) depending on size. The TransPac XT comes with an owner's manual.
DIVB4300 Dive Rite Rec EXP Wing:
The Rec EXP is the flagship of Dive Rite's innovative line of 360°, donut-style wings. Donut wings tend to provide greater stability and control in the water, improving diver buoyancy and trim. The Rec EXP is shorter than Dive Rite's traditional Rec Wing, which means it now fits a wider range of diver statures; whereas Dive Rite's traditional Rec Wing is best suited for tall divers or divers who require more buoyancy at the waist.
A hybrid wing, the Rec EXP can be worn on single or double tanks making it one of Dive Rite's most popular wings. When diving with a single tank, The Rec EXP Wing has 2 clips on each side attach to D-rings on the back-plate, keeping the wing close to the diver's body. This avoids the taco effect of the wing wrapping around the tank, away from the diver, which diminishes buoyancy control.
At full lift capacity, the Rec EXP has 45 lbs. (20.4 kg) of lift and can accommodate two 85 cubic feet (12 liter) back mounted cylinders. The Rec EXP Wing Series is built with value driven and durable 1680-ballistic nylon EXP material that is resistant to tears and abrasions. The Rec EXP line's toughness is further enhanced with a heavy-duty, radio frequency (RF) welded 210-denier nylon urethane laminated bladder. The Rec EXP has urethane flanges welded in place which makes it easy to switch out corrugated hose and over-pressure relief valves without tools. The Rec EXP comes with either a 16" or 12" (40.6cm or 30.5cm) elbowed inflator and a 3/8' threaded low-pressure hose for attachment to the first-stage regulator. Wing has a lower left front over-pressure relief/dump valve. Two sets of marine-grade 316-stainless-steel grommet mounting holes are used to attach the wing to the harness and/or to double tanks and set divers trim. The Rec EXP measures approximately (H x W) 24" x 23" (60.9cm x 58.4cm) deflated and weighs 3.12 lbs. (1.4 kg). The Rec EXP Wing comes with owner's Manual
DIV2084 Dive Rite TransPac Stabilizer Plates for Doubles:
Stainless-steel TransPac Stabilizing Plates firmly secure a TransPac to any set of double tanks that uses industry standard bands & bolts. They are curved to fit the spacing of double tanks, & are the only item needed to connect a TransPac Harness & Wing to a set of double tanks. The TransPac Harness and the Wing end up being sandwiched between the double tanks and the stabilizing plates, with the stabilizing plates functioning like large washers. Dive Rite TransPac Stabilizer Plates are corrosion resistant and sold as a pair. Plates measure 4.25" x 1.5" (10.8cm x 3.8cm) and weigh 7.8 oz. (220 g).
DIV3232 Dive Rite 32 lbs. (14.5 kg) QB Weight Pocket:
The Dive Rite 32 lbs. (14.5 kg) Quick Buckle (QB) Weight Pockets consist of an insert pocket that easily releases when the handle is pulled and a holster that stays securely on the waist belt. The insert pocket has two compartments to separate heavy weights and keeps them from slipping inside. Designed to be worn with the Trans-Pac Harness the 32 lbs. (14.5 kg) QB Weight Pockets are worn vertically w/each pocket holding up to 16 lbs. (7.3 kg) of weight securely in position throughout the dive. Simple, top loading pocket protects divers from an inadvertent buoyancy event by keeping weight securely in place. Worn at an angle on the waist belt for easier access, the right-hand pocket is identified by the Dive Rite logo while the left-hand pocket is plain, without a Logo.
Weight pockets are made from durable 1680-denier ballistic nylon fabric & are tear and abrasion resistant. Pockets attach to standard 2" (5cm) webbing of harness or BCD waist strap w/2" (5cm) nylon webbing loops on the back of pockets. Acetyl quick-release buckle is used to easily open and close the pocket. The Dive Rite Weight Pockets come with nickel plated brass grommets that are resistant to rust & corrosion.
