Description

Designed like a mountaineer’s backpack, the TransPac disperses weight across the hips and back,
minimizing shoulder strain. Adjustable straps adapt to a wide variety of exposure suits and means
easy donning and doffing. A soft backplate accommodates sidemount diving, yet gives appropriate
support for single tanks, double tanks or rebreathers. Slots in the backplate fit standard 36-inch
cam straps (included) for single tank diving. The modular design allows for customization using
anassortment of pockets and accessories, depending on the needs and desires of the individual diver.
The TransPac is lightweight and flattens easily into a suitcase for travel. The TransPac is designed
to be used with any wing in the Dive Rite line. Made in the U.S.A.Please note: The Dive Rite
TransPac is not designed to be worn with a metal backplate.
Technical Features:

Soft backplate is constructed of 1000 denier ballistic nylon fabric for tear and abrasion resistance.

Two-inch (50mm) nylon webbing rated at 7,000 lbs breaking strength forms the shoulder straps
and waistband.

Four 2-inch D-rings on each shoulder strap are slightly bent for improved access and placement
can be adjusted.
·
Six 1-inch D-rings on each side of the harness provide attachment points for light canisters,
pony bottles, lift bags and other equipment.

Grommet mounting holes slide over bolt kit when diving doubles and help diver set trim
