    Description

    The women's 4 × 100 meters relay races at the 2000 Summer Olympics held in Sydney, Australia as part of the athletics program were held on Friday, 29 September and Saturday, 30 September. The Bahamian team composed of Savatheda Fynes, Chandra Sturrup, Pauline Davis-Thompson, Debbie Ferguson and  Eldece Clarke-Lewis won the Gold Medal for their country and were thereafter known as "The Golden Girls."
